What this site is

A public counter and a record of donations. It reads the Robinhood Chain blockchain to measure the trading volume of $ERASE, computes the share owed to the cause, and publishes every donation made, with its transaction and its receipt.

The site holds no money and asks for nothing. There is no wallet to connect, no swap, no sign-up, and no user funds pass through it. $ERASE trades on Pons, a third-party launchpad; this site only links to it.

What $ERASE is, and what it is not

$ERASE is a memecoin. It has no intrinsic value and no expectation of profit. Nothing is paid to holders. Buying it is not an investment in anything, and you can lose everything you put in.

Trading $ERASE is not a donation. The donations are made by the project, from its own share of the trading fees. You do not donate anything by trading, and nothing on this site should be read as a statement about your taxes.

The cause

The project commits to donate 1% of $ERASE's trading volume to Undue Medical Debt, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, every week, through The Giving Block. Undue Medical Debt is not a partner of this project, has not endorsed it, and is not affiliated with it. It is named only as the recipient of the donations.

"$1 erases about $100 of medical debt" is Undue Medical Debt's own published average (source). The real ratio depends on each portfolio of debt it buys. Figures shown as "about" are estimates.

How the figures are computed

"Earned" is computed from on-chain events and converted to US dollars at the price of the moment the chain is read. It can differ slightly from other sources. "Donated" is the sum of the donations listed on the proof page, each with its transaction. The site can be late, unavailable or wrong; the blockchain and the receipts are the reference.
